Kumar Sweets Derrimut: Vegetarian Sweets and Snacks Visit

We visited Kumar Sweets near Derrimut / Deer Park, a vegetarian sweets and snacks place on Mount Derrimut Road.

They are known for vegetarian sweets and snacks like samosa, milk cake and gujiya. The samosas used to be one of the best things here for me, but recently the taste has changed a bit. I would now call them above average, rather than the standout they used to be.

The sweets are still good. I especially like the kalakand and cham cham here. It is the kind of place where you can stop for a quick Indian snack or pick up sweets to take home.

They also have chai, coffee and lassi, which makes it useful for a small snack break.

Would I visit again?

Yes for sweets — especially for kalakand and cham cham. For samosas, I would still have them, but I would not go only for the samosas now.
