As we move ahead after paying our obeisance to Lord Krishna we head to the best local eatery of Udupi.. Located on the Car street in the same square of the temple.. “Mitra Samaj”
The restraurant and the sweet shop are located on the same street.
We ended up eating all the meals of the day here.. Thanks to the Great taste.

Yummy food for your tummy at an affordable price.
This makes the eatery very popular among the locals.
You can have a good meal for 2 well under 100 bucks..
Make d way for d vadas and d Idlys at breakfast and lovely filter coffee.

You only keep wanting more…

We did have to come back for the special Mangalore Bajji or Goli Bajji served hot with coconut chutney, only served at the afternoon tea.

Also served is the favorite the lovely and rich Puran Poli

Dosas is available all the time & you really thank Udupi walas to travel setup their eateries all over the country..God shows the mercy in their taste !
No matter who you are, where u come from, however big or small, sight of crispy Dosas will have you wanting more

A special mention to Karnataka special Pulao served with a peppy Raita for breakfast
Yes Mitra Samaj kept us hooked for a whole day before we could think of moving on…

Udupi Fish Market is full of hullabaloo where daily auction for fresh fish takes place in evening

We then move ahead to Kapu Beach where we watch the Golden sunset with the locals.Water sports is favorite with all Manipal college-goers while children enjoy their camel rides. Its a jam packed Sunday hotspot.. Do enjoy the Chicken and Veg Manchurian ,fish fry sold fresh on the shacks

The next day morning we hop across to visit the Malpe beach which is quiet and serene..

Our trip to Udupi leaves us with ironical memories..where the happening golden sunset at Kapu makes way for morning cool and serene @ Malpe
The hullabaloo of the fish auction makes way for the peace and tranquility of the Mutts & Krishna temple
Quaint and calm of the heart in spite of markets makes you wonder at the simplicity of human needs
Yes, it makes you believe, less is more for a meaningful life..
